About the Owner
Nick Cross is a Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT) whose primary role is serving as a full-time police officer and active SWAT operator. With a background as a former MN Army National Guard medic and years of experience in both tactical and emergency medical settings, he brings a deep commitment to preparedness and public safety.
He is certified as a Tactical Emergency Medical Instructor through the Department Of Homeland Security FLETC and a BLS/AED/First Aid Instructor through HSI. He is passionate about bridging the gap between medical knowledge and real-world application. Through his company, Blue Shield Training Solutions, he provides high-quality training to both civilians and first responders—ranging from CPR and First Aid to advanced tactical medical courses.
He founded Blue Shield Training Solutions with a clear mission: to ensure that everyone—from everyday civilians to seasoned first responders—has the knowledge, skills, and confidence to perform life-saving interventions in critical moments.
